Many female entrepreneurs today want exactly that: lightness aka flow. It means to let our feminine energy qualities flow into our business, to improve our stress management, to create a healthy work-life balance and to prioritize our holistic health.

To help you do just that, I’ve put together 7 healthy habits that will create more ease, joy and flow in you, and therefore directly in your business.

Can you recall a moment in your entrepreneurial journey when everything felt like an uphill battle? What if I told you there’s a path to more lightness in your business?

 

How to shape the outer world

Although you generally want more flow in your business, the 7 healthy habits start somewhere different – namely with you personally. As you may already know, your personal well-being is closely interwoven with the well-being in your own business.

Our thoughts determine our feelings, which in turn influence our actions and decisions and thus create our lives. So if we want to make lasting changes on the outside, we start at the base, on the inside, more precisely with our thoughts and feelings. This inner change will help you to make better decisions in order to really experience what you want in your life.

Why Habits?

Why do we talk about habits here?

Habits are the invisible decision-makers in our lives. If we do not actively and consciously decide on our actions (this includes even the smallest actions), our habits automatically take over this job. This can be very practical because it relieves our consciousness of a great deal of work. But only if our habits are useful habits that correspond to our Higher Self. Habits that reinforce the vision and version we want to be.

In most cases, however, our habits were shaped years ago and do not contribute at all to your highest good today.

Bringing awareness to these habits and replacing outdated ones with new, healthy ones quickly puts us on the path to our vision: an easier, more joyful and healthier everyday life. 

Flow in business. What & Why?

Before we dive into the 7 healthy habits, let’s first focus on the topic of flow. What does flow actually mean and what does flow look like in business?

When we talk about flow in business, it’s not about sitting back and doing nothing at all. It’s not about letting everything flow and just trusting that it will work out. Don’t get me wrong, trust and receiving should also have their place in your business. But once again, it’s about finding the right balance between activity and passivity, masculine and feminine energy.

As you will soon discover in the 7 habits, there are some that strengthen your dark feminine energy (the masculine energy in the female body) and others that strengthen your soft feminine energy.

So in general, flow means creating inner balance between these two energy poles and thus being in harmony and not in resistance. Because resistance creates friction, which in turn robs you of a lot of your valuable energy.

This harmony between these two energies within us promotes creativity, resilience and a more cooperative working environment. We can make better decisions, communicate more effectively, promote the collective well-being of our employees and improve our adaptability and innovative ideas.

» Put yourself first

Nothing works without health. You may now be saying to yourself „yes, but I’m not ill“. I’m going one step further here, because not only your physical health but also your level of happiness, contentment and well-being belong here.

If you put yourself and therefore your heart’s desires and needs first, you will have more compassion, patience and capacity towards your fellow human beings and business. You serve others better when you look to yourself first. fill your cup first to serve from a place of abundance

» Laugh a lot

In your role as CEO, you often have to be serious. You have to make important decisions, solve serious problems and negotiate with third parties.

Laughter brings out a playful and extremely light energy. This is because it helps us to see everything not as deadly serious, but as an exciting challenge, like in one of your favorite games as a child. A wonderful habit that immediately brings lightness and relaxation to your situation.

» Spend time alone

Are you a lot around people? And everybody wants something from you? You need to be available for questions, decisions, opinions at work and it doesn’t stop when you come home. Family, friends, your partner… Where is the time when you are your own listener?

Intentionally making space for being just by yourself, gives you the opportunity to tune into your very unique energy, recognising your wants & needs, your thoughts and desires. By being alone without any distraction you come in touch with your essence. This is the place where you can ressource yourself.

» Ask for support

As a independent woman, you can do anything by your own. But do you really have to? It’s likely that you were raised like I was, learning to not ask for help, because this would be a sign of failure and weakness. The proof that I am that weak woman who needs a man to save her. Personally, I had to work on that quite a while, even though I’m much better now in asking for help from an empowered place, it’s still tough sometimes).

Remember if you ask for help, you are as worthy, independent and empowered as always.

» Declutter

Take a look at all your activities. Which of them are you only doing half-heartedly? What things are you doing that don’t lead you to your goal?  And then eliminate these activities. Delegate them if they can’t be deleted. This way, you can focus your energy on the activities that will really help you achieve your goals feeling light rather than exhausted.

» Write it down

Having your to do’s and ideas written down gives you more headspace. Imagine a Jack Sparrow, the captain of the Black Pearl, his beloved ship heading into a storm. Do you think it makes sense for him to simultaneously steer the ship, give orders to the entire crew, secure all the rooms, read the map and think about what the next treasure is he could steal?

The more we focus on one thing, the easier and faster we get it done. If you instantly write out any tasks that arise, you can concentrate on your actual task again. This in turn allows you to complete your work in a more structured and therefore more efficient way.

You can then sort the list with all the to do’s, ideas, tasks, reminders and so on once a day or once a week. And don’t forget to decide consciously on what you want to act from this list and on what you don’t.

» Work with your emotions

If you feel strong emotions, it makes totally sense to integrate this habit into your life. To know if it makes sense for you or not, consultate your Human Design Chart and take a look at your Solar Plexus Center.

If you have the Solar Plexus Center defined, you have contant access to your emotions and they can get pretty overwhelming. Don’t worry, you can handle them. But the healthy habit here is to learn to do so instantly. You probably never know, when an emotion will arise but to give her the space and let her flow through your body, helpes your holistic well-being much more than you can imagine.

Suppressed emotions creates pressure on an energetic level,  acidity on a physical level in your body and brings your whole system in imbalance. By working with your emotions, you let go of that resistance you create by holding them back or even suppressing them. This is how you welcome flow and lightness throught this new habit of yours.

 

If you have an undefined Solar Plexus Center, you can also follow this habit. However, it will not show up as often as if you have a defined center. Your healthy habit is about knowing which emotions are yours and which are not and then clearly separating yourself from the others.
